In the summer of 2005 we attended a concert in the park. Chiara really enjoyed eating watermelon and dancing to the music.

That summer we also visited the beach with Chiara for the first time. It took her awhile to get used to the sand, but then she had a great time. |

Grandma and Grandpa visited, bringing Lee and Courtney with them. Courtney was very popular with Chiara for teaching her how to blow bubbles. |

In October we got a visit from Pam, which was very nice. And Chiara dressed up as a pig for Halloween! |

In early November, Chiara and I flew to Charleston to visit Kent and his family. We really enjoyed our time there and Chiara was happy to meet her cousins. |

For Christmas, Chiara made a snowman ornament and proudly hung it on our tree. She also was very proud to wear Daddy's big shoes. |
