Chiara can identify all the letters of the alphabet now, and is working on writing. Here you can see her name written by me, and then by her. Her patience was exhausted before she got the whole name done.

On the weekends, Todd takes Chiara for a day with Daddy. They explore the city and generally have a great time. These pictures are from their visit to the Nordpark, with it's many fountains.
Right behind our apartment building there's a park between us and the train station. There is playground equipment there, but Chiara spends a lot of time just on the paths walking around and exploring.

Chiara has been liking to go to Starbucks and get a steamed soy milk. She requires two stir sticks and she eats the foam off the top first, before drinking the soy milk. One Starbucks is across the street from a canal in downtown Dusseldorf and it's fun to take a walk there afterwards.
Tasha, Todd's cousin, and her daughter Naima visited us in mid-March. Chiara was very happy to spend time with her second-cousin and play with another English-speaker.
