Finally finishing up the pictures from our trip in May to visit family. At the end of our trip we got to spend time with the kids Abuelo and Abuela, and see friends in Seattle. Chiara had the priviledge of having Marley the cat settle on her lap when she fell asleep.

Chiara attended the American Women's Club Halloween party again this year and had a great time. Kavita also enjoyed all the excitement.

Chiara is in the first grade at a local German Montessori school. She loves it and is learning to read and write in German. These pictures are from her first day of school in August, including the traditional German Schultüte which is traditionally given to children on their first day of school in Germany and includes some small presents, treats and school supplies.

Kavita was still crawling while we were in the US. She didn't like the feel of the grass on her legs. This was actually not that uncommon a way for her to crawl.

Chiara always has loved the piano and was happy play the piano at Uncle Steve and Aunt Nancy's house while we were staying there. Kavita enjoyed discovering the piano.
