We traveled to Rome for a week over the Christmas break. Here we are on the train to the airport.
We went to the Piazza del Popolo on New Year's Day for a children's event.
We walked around the Colosseum and explored ruins and monuments.
We found Chiara's name.
We saw the Pantheon, walked by the river Tiber, found some carousels, and lots of fountains.
And we visited the St. Paul's Cathedral and climbed to the top of the dome. We found a place to duck out of the rain on the piazza on the rooftop half way to the top. (We took the elevator that far.) And Chiara posed with the statues that line the top of the portico.
And we made sure to throw coins into the Trevi Fountain (Chiara threw Kavita's for her since she was asleep).
